Alien invaders attempt to disable the defences of the Imperial world of Volkus. Descending in the darkness, Vespid Stingwing kill teams strike at the titanic defence gun that protects the planet. The elite Tempestus Aquilons are dispatched to deal with the threat, and the scene is set for savage battle.
