Of all the automata forged by the Helsmiths, the Dominator Engines are amongst the most infamous. Theirs is the form of a tauroid titan – the sacred symbol of Hashut. Darksome rumours and tales of malign fortune surround these constructs, with duardin who toil in their forging often falling victim to improbable expulsions of flame or flesh-mangling industrial mishaps. Hundreds of daemons are needed to fuel a Dominator, and gory libation is demanded to ignite its hell-furnace. Tradition dictates that captured priests of the Ancestor Gods be exsanguinated in grim ceremony, their blood poured over the automaton’s impregnable iron hide until its eyes blaze with murder-lust.
